How it all started...
All stories have a beginning. This is ours.
It was a warm Sunday morning, the summer of 2008 when a small group of women walking out of worship found one another and discovered something that would change their lives forever. In the course of a conversation about church, family and faith they realized each one of them was feeling restless. Simply attending worship and doing church was no longer enough. God was calling them to something deeper, something richer. The question was, ‘What would this look like?”
Prayer. That’s what happened next. Lots of prayer, along with worship and shared meals; all the while exploring this shared sense of restlessness. It quickly became clear that God had blessed this bunch with servants’ hearts and they were being called to form a new congregation. But not just any congregation. They would follow Jesus intentionally; caring for one another and sharing God’s love by serving their way into the hearts of their neighbors.
We are passionate about showing the world what an amazing difference it makes, when you’re part of a church family where God’s love is alive and real and shared. It was and is our hope that those looking at Living Water Church would see a people whose lives continue to be enriched and transformed as they give & serve and love in Jesus’ name. EXPANDING THE VISION...
The campus now includes the Living Water Community Garden, Ruby’s Pantry Garage, a playground, and plenty of open space for children of all ages to play and celebrate God’s wonderful creation.
